During the inaugural Twenty20 International match in Dunedin, the Pakistani squad secured a seven-wicket victory over the host team, marking their first win against New Zealand in nine T20I encounters.

Opting to bat first after winning the toss, New Zealand’s women’s team scored 127 runs for six wickets in 20 overs. The Pakistani team reached the target in 18.2 overs with three wickets down.
Shawaal Zulfiqar, opening the innings for Pakistan, scored an impressive 41 runs, while Fatima Sana contributed with both bat and ball, taking three wickets and scoring 18 runs.
Fatima Sana was recognized as the Player of the Match for her exceptional bowling performance.
