Gold prices in the global market have decreased for the second consecutive day, while local prices have risen once again.
On Friday, the international bullion market saw a $12 drop per ounce, bringing the global price to $2,492 per ounce. However, in the local market, the price of 24-carat gold increased by Rs. 200 per tola, reaching Rs. 262,000. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs. 172, now standing at Rs. 224,623.

In contrast to the rising gold prices, silver remained stable, with one tola of silver priced at Rs. 2,950 and 10 grams at Rs. 2,529.14. It’s worth noting that just a day earlier, the global market experienced an $8 drop in the price of gold per ounce, while local gold prices saw a significant increase of Rs. 800 per tola and Rs. 686 per 10 grams.
