The price of yellow metal has plummeted as it comes under pressure. According to new data from the All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold (24 carats) has dropped by Rs9,900 per tola.
Following the drop, a single tola of 24-Karats gold was trading for Rs2,37,300, and a gramme of 24-Karats gold was trading for Rs2,03,447.

Meanwhile, 10 grammes of 22-karat gold were being traded for Rs1,86,493.
The local currency hit a record low against the greenback in the interbank market on Wednesday, and closed at 298.93 against the USD on Thursday. The rupee finished the day down Rs8.71, or 2.91%.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
