The price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs1,600, selling at Rs347,100 on Monday compared to Rs348,700 on the previous trading day, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold declined by Rs1,368 to Rs297,582 from Rs298,950, while the 10 grams of 22-karat gold fell to Rs272,784 from Rs274,047.

Meanwhile, silver rates remained unchanged at Rs3,497 per tola and Rs2,998 per 10 grams.
In the international market, gold prices slipped by $16, falling to $3,289 from $3,305, while silver was priced at $32.97, the Association noted.
