The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has announced 20 new contract-based vacancies under its digitalization project, offering opportunities for professionals across various technical and administrative fields. The recruitment is part of a Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP)-funded initiative aimed at modernizing the commission’s internal operations and automating its examination system.
According to the official advertisement, all positions will be filled on a one-year contract. The contract may be extended for another year based on satisfactory performance or until the completion of the project, whichever comes first. The initiative is designed to improve the efficiency, transparency and digital capabilities of the FPSC.
The available positions include Project Director, QA Manager, Cyber Security Officer, Database Specialist, Procurement Officer, Software Developer, System/Network Engineer and QA & Testing Engineer. These roles are intended to support the implementation of the commission’s digital transformation project.
FPSC has also announced several Subject Specialist positions in different academic fields. These include English, Education, Computer Science and Information Technology, Mathematics and General Ability, Management Science and Public Administration, as well as Medical and Allied Health. The commission said all appointments will be made strictly on open merit.
According to FPSC, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for the interview process. Applicants are advised to ensure that all required information is provided correctly, as incomplete applications will not be entertained. The commission also clarified that no TA/DA will be provided to candidates appearing for tests or interviews.
Interested candidates can submit their applications online through the official FPSC website within 15 days of the publication of the advertisement. The commission has encouraged eligible professionals to apply before the deadline to avoid any last-minute issues.
Candidates who are already serving in government or semi-government departments must apply through the proper channel in accordance with the applicable rules. FPSC said applications submitted without following the required procedure may not be considered.
The latest recruitment drive is part of FPSC’s broader effort to strengthen its digital infrastructure and improve the efficiency of recruitment and examination processes. The project is expected to enhance public service delivery through greater automation and the use of modern technology.
