Florida Man Uses Alligator to Open Beer Can in Viral Video

A Florida man has gone viral online after a video of him opening a beer with an alligator’s mouth began circulating on the internet.

The term ‘Florida man’ is often used in the United States to describe locals engaging in bizarre or wild activities, and this instance certainly fits the bill.

In the 30-second clip, the man, whose identity is not yet known, is seen using the alligator’s mouth to pierce a beer can. After placing his hand in the water to attract the alligator, the small but dangerous animal floats next to him.

When the alligator opens its mouth to attack, the man deftly places his left hand under its jaw, directs its mouth toward his right hand, and slams the beer can onto its teeth, piercing it open.

The video was originally posted by @catchupbites but gained viral status after being reposted by @WallStreetSilv. The daring act was met with loud cheers from others in the boat, which grew even louder when another group member drank the beer in front of the alligator.
