The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) has implemented new schedules for schools and colleges in both urban and rural areas of Islamabad. This decision was prompted by the recent drop in temperature caused by rainfall. According to the FDE’s official notification, these revised timings have been effective since October 16.
In accordance with the FDE’s directive, single-shift educational institutions will operate from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm on Monday through Thursday, and they will conclude at 12:30 pm every Friday.
Similarly, the FDE has also issued revised timings for double-shift institutions within the federal capital. The morning shift will run from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm from Monday to Thursday, ending at 12:30 pm on Fridays.
