The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has appointed Claudio Altieri, a Venezuelan/Italian, as the Performance Coach for Pakistan’s upcoming World Cup qualifier against Cambodia.
Claudio Altieri holds a Master of Science in Strength and Conditioning from Edith Cowan University in Australia, where he also pursued sports science for more than a decade. He possesses specialized expertise in Athlete Monitoring, utilizing GPS and sports technology, as well as proficiency in data visualization techniques and understanding the physical demands of football. In 2017, he was affiliated with the AIFF as a Rehabilitation Coach.

For a period of four years, Claudio served as a Sports Scientist at Beijing Sport University FC, where he actively contributed to the sports science program. His primary focus was on improving the physical conditioning of senior and academy players.
Additionally, Claudio Altieri held the position of Head of Strength and Conditioning for the Anguilla and Grenada National Teams (CONCACAF) from 2021 to 2022. His most recent role was Head of Performance at Loudoun United FC in the USL Championship.
Claudio Altieri will be working alongside Stephen Constantine, who recently assumed the position of Head Coach of the Men’s National Team. Together, they will share their skills and expertise with the current squad of players.
