The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced a new balloting process for the allotment of residential plots to eligible land affectees in Islamabad under the Rehabilitation Benefits Framework 2023. The authority has invited eligible applicants to submit their claims before the July 15 deadline to be included in the upcoming draw.
According to an official notice issued by the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, CDA, residential plots will be allocated against approved land compensation claims in Sectors F-13, D-13, and E-13. The initiative is part of the CDA’s ongoing efforts to provide rehabilitation benefits to people whose land was acquired for development projects in the federal capital.
The upcoming balloting will include eligible land affectees from the villages of Maira Sumbal Aku, Maira Sumbal Jaffar, Shah Allah Ditta, and Pind Sangrial. Residents from these areas who meet the eligibility criteria can apply for plot allotment under the approved policy.
The CDA has instructed all eligible claimants to submit their applications along with the required supporting documents to the Office of the Deputy Commissioner. Officials emphasized that applications must comply with the conditions outlined in the Rehabilitation Benefits Framework 2023.
The authority clarified that only claims related to Shamilat (common) land will be considered if the land partition process has already been completed by the Collector, Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) under the Land Sharing Policy 2007. Applications that do not meet this requirement will not be included in the current balloting process.
Furthermore, the CDA stated that only applications received by July 15, 2026, and successfully verified according to official records, policies, and applicable regulations will qualify for the draw. Claims submitted after the deadline or those awaiting verification will be carried forward to a future balloting round.
After the completion of the process, the results of the balloting will be published on the official CDA website. The authority has advised all eligible land affectees to submit their applications on time to avoid missing the opportunity to participate in the current plot allotment process.
