The Election Commission of Pakistan announced that voting for the 14th President will take place in the National Assembly and all provincial assemblies from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. The six-party alliance led by PML-N and PPP has nominated former president Asif Zardari for this prestigious role. Mahmood Achakzai, on the other hand, has been put forth as the candidate by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and SIC. Notably, independent candidates secured 93 seats in the National Assembly.
