Punjab On Alert For Heavy Rains From March 11

The Pakistan Meteorological Office has anticipated extensive rainfall in Punjab starting from March 11, leading the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) to issue a precautionary alert due to the anticipated heavy downpours in the region.

According to the PDMA, there is a likelihood of substantial rainfall in Punjab between March 11 and 14. A westerly wave is approaching the South Asian nation during the weekend and is expected to progress northeastward across the upper regions in the ensuing days.
