Applying for Hajj 2024 in Pakistan Through Banks

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]Caretaker Minister for Religious Affairs Aneeq Ahmed has unveiled the Hajj Policy 2024 in Islamabad, announcing a reduction of Rs100,000 in the pilgrimage cost.

During a press conference in the federal capital, the minister disclosed that Saudi Arabia has allocated a quota of 179,210 pilgrims for Hajj 2024, with an equal distribution between government and private Hajj schemes. The Hajj Application form should be submitted between November 27th to December 12th, 2023.

Essential Terms & Conditions

  1. The submission period for the Hajj Application form is from November 27th to December 12th, 2023.
  2. There is no age restriction for Hujjaj.
  3. All applicants must possess a valid CNIC and Machine-Readable Passport with an expiry date extending until December 16, 2024.
  4. It is obligatory for the applicant to hold an active Bank account.

Regular Hajj Scheme:

  • The Regular Scheme for the Government Hajj quota will undergo a selection process through computerized balloting.
  • The announcement of the ballot results for the Regular Scheme will be made by Hajj Authorities at a later date.

Sponsorship Hajj Scheme:

  • Utilization of the Sponsorship Scheme quota will follow a first-come, first-served basis. Once the reserved quota is filled, registration for the Sponsorship Scheme will be discontinued.
  • The applicant or sponsor is responsible for covering any bank charges, additional fees, taxes, etc.
  • For the deposit of Hajj dues in foreign currency (USD) from abroad, the applicant’s representative in Pakistan must contact the relevant bank. This contact should include the swift code and reference number used for depositing the Hajj dues.
  • Remittance of the foreign exchange currency (USD) from abroad to the Ministry’s FC account is a mandatory requirement.

Hajj Application Through Bank Alfalah

Documentation Requirements:

  • Original Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) valid until December 16, 2024.
  • Original Passport of the Hajj Applicant, also valid until December 16, 2024.
  • COVID Vaccination Certificate approved by the Saudi Government.
  • Medical Certificates.
  • Three photographs with a light blue background, sized 4 x 3 cm.
  • Valid Bank Account of the Applicant.
