A video circulating online shows Tate leaving a Romanian courthouse, where he spoke to the press, saying, “I’ve been nice, I’ve been patient, I’ve played the game … but they busted my house again and now come along saying there’s 35 victims.” He claimed that 30 of the alleged victims had given statements in his defense, suggesting the case is a setup.

Tate and his brother, Tristan Tate, are currently awaiting trial on charges of human trafficking, rape, and forming a criminal gang to sexually exploit women. Both brothers have denied all charges. Additionally, Tate faces an arrest warrant in the U.K. for allegations of sexual aggression dating back to 2012.

Romanian authorities have agreed to extradite Tate to the U.K. after the completion of their trial. He was first detained in 2022 in connection with these investigations and remained in custody for several months before being placed under house arrest. Although later released from house arrest, Tate was ordered not to leave Romania.

A former kickboxer, Tate has amassed a large social media following, with millions of followers on platforms like X and Instagram.
