Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan, known as ‘Big B,’ has addressed why he continues to work at 81 despite his success and wealth. Despite his age and a long career, Bachchan remains active in Bollywood and hosts the popular TV show “Kaun Banega Crorepati.”
In his recent blog post, Bachchan responded to those questioning his decision to keep working. He explained that his motivation is the chance to continue his craft, stating, “The only answer I have is that I have another opportunity to work, and that’s why I do it.”

Bachchan acknowledged that people often speculate about his reasons, but he emphasized that only he truly knows his motivations. He challenged his critics by asking, “If you were given the same opportunity, what would you do? If anyone has an issue with me working, they should come to the set and find out why.”
He concluded firmly, “You’ve heard my reason; it’s mine alone. End of discussion.”
