Dubai Police have officially announced the designated fireworks locations for the New Year 2026 celebrations, unveiling a detailed map to help residents and visitors plan their festivities across the city.
According to the authorities, a total of 48 fireworks shows will take place at 40 different locations throughout Dubai, making it one of the largest New Year celebrations in the region. The events will be conducted under the supervision of the Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA), in close coordination with other concerned departments, to ensure public safety, smooth crowd movement, and effective security arrangements.
The approved locations feature many of Dubai’s world-famous landmarks. These include the Burj Khalifa and Downtown Dubai, Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Festival City, Dubai Creek Harbour, Bluewaters Island, Burj Al Arab, Expo City Dubai, Global Village, Atlantis The Palm, and Palm Jebel Ali. These iconic destinations are expected to attract large crowds and offer spectacular fireworks displays welcoming the new year.
Officials from the Event Security Committee stated that the scale and organization of the celebrations highlight Dubai’s position as a leading global tourism destination. Extensive planning has gone into security deployment, crowd control strategies, traffic management, and the use of city infrastructure to ensure that events run smoothly despite high attendance.
Apart from major tourist hubs, fireworks will also be organized at several coastal spots, hotels and resorts, golf courses, amusement parks, and selected residential areas. This approach allows families and communities to enjoy New Year celebrations closer to their homes without needing to travel long distances.

Dubai Police have urged both residents and tourists to review the official fireworks map in advance, plan their routes early, and select suitable viewing areas.
