Death Toll Rises to 12 in Faisalabad Chemical Factory Boiler Blast

A powerful boiler blast at a chemical factory in Faisalabad has raised the death toll to twelve. Women and children were also among the victims, adding to the tragedy.

Rescue officials said the explosion caused a large fire that spread quickly across the factory. The impact damaged nearby houses, with several roofs collapsing from the shockwave.

A family living next to the factory reportedly died when their home caved in. Many residents rushed out of their houses as debris scattered across the area.

At least fifteen people were injured and taken to hospitals for treatment. Rescue teams continued clearing rubble for hours, fearing more victims trapped beneath.

Authorities have launched an investigation to determine if negligence or safety violations caused the blast. A team has been sent to arrest the factory owner.

Locals criticised the presence of old factories so close to homes. They demanded strict action and better safety checks to prevent similar incidents.
