Pakistan’s star batter Babar Azam has added another major achievement to his name. In the second ODI against Sri Lanka, he hit a century, equalling Saeed Anwar’s record and matching milestones set by players like Javed Miandad.
In the third and final ODI in Rawalpindi, Babar scored 34 off 52 balls, including four boundaries, reaching yet another landmark. With this performance, he became Pakistan’s highest run-scorer in One Day Internationals, overtaking the great Inzamam-ul-Haq.
After adding 37 runs in the match, Babar Azam also became Pakistan’s top run-getter across all three formats combined, setting a new national record.
