The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has unveiled a special pink kit for the national team ahead of the first T20I against South Africa, scheduled on October 28, 2025, in Rawalpindi.
The initiative is part of the #PINKtober campaign, aimed at spreading awareness about breast cancer.
The pink jersey replaces Pakistan’s traditional green kit for this match, symbolizing support for breast cancer patients and survivors.
The PCB has also announced that stumps, branding, and digital screens at the stadium will turn pink for the day, while players, officials, and commentators will wear pink ribbons in solidarity.
According to PCB, the campaign is being run in collaboration with Pink Ribbon Pakistan to promote early detection and treatment awareness.
Fans attending the match will also be offered free breast cancer screening and awareness materials.
This marks the first time Pakistan’s men’s team will wear a themed jersey for a social cause. By turning the spotlight on breast cancer awareness through a globally watched game, the PCB hopes to use cricket’s reach to save lives and inspire action.
