Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha has revealed that she and her husband, actor Zaheer Iqbal, bought their dream home in Mumbai before getting married.
In her latest YouTube vlog, Sonakshi shared a detailed look at their home’s renovation process, which has been underway for the past nine months. The actress said the property is now in its final stages and reflects both her and Zaheer’s personal styles.
The video also featured Zaheer Iqbal, who joined Sonakshi for a home tour. The couple showed fans the living area, kitchen, and several corners of the nearly completed house. Zaheer said they had purchased the home long before marriage but began renovations only after tying the knot.
“We found our interior designer just ten days before the wedding,” Zaheer said, adding that she had worked on six other apartments in the same building. He praised the design team for completing the project within nine months.
Zaheer also shared some of his fun design preferences, saying he wanted a basin where water falls perfectly in the middle and furniture strong enough to dance on. Laughing at his comments, Sonakshi said she preferred a “clean and white” theme for the interiors, reflecting her simple and elegant taste.
The couple, who dated for seven years, met at a party hosted by Salman Khan. Zaheer made his Bollywood debut in Notebook (2019), produced by Salman, while Sonakshi starred alongside him in Double XL (2022) and the music video Blockbuster.
The pair got married in an intimate ceremony at their Mumbai home on June 23 last year, followed by a star-studded reception. Guests included Rekha, Vidya Balan, Tabu, Anil Kapoor, and Aditya Roy Kapur.
With her openness and charm, Sonakshi continues to connect with fans both on-screen and off, offering glimpses into her personal and professional life.
