[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]Jazz has announced significant changes in its C-level management, with Kazim Mujtaba, currently the Chief Data & Strategy Officer, taking on the post of Chief Commercial Officer, which was previously held by Asif Aziz, who is now the Chief Business Officer.

Ali Naseer, who was previously the Chief Business Officer, will take over as Chief Data & Strategy Officer immediately.

Sarwat Salahuddin Khan, the Head of Ethics and Compliance, will also assume additional D&I responsibilities as Chief Ethics & Diversity Officer.

Given today’s unstable and chaotic economy, these developments are significant. The CEO of Jazz, Aamir Ibrahim, recognised that the move is risky but believed that it will benefit the company.

Kazim was described as a rare resource with acute telecom knowledge by Aamir Ibrahim, CEO of Jazz, in an internal memo shared with the team.

Aamir stated that Kazim’s expertise of customer data, along with his war-time mindset, will be critical in assisting Jazz in meeting its remarkable goal of 30% growth – and raising the company’s dollarized ARPU from under $1 to $1.50 levels.

The CEO also credited Asif Aziz for Jazz’s business success.

Aamir stated that Asif will be tasked with developing Jazz’s cloud, data centre, and solutions businesses.

Asif Aziz is credited with increasing Jazz’s subscriber base and revenue, rebranding the company, and transforming its distribution from traditional to digital.

Asif will now be challenged to reproduce that performance in the B2B market, where 50% annual growth is promised.

Ali Naseer, previously the Chief Business Officer, is credited with Jazz Business’s outstanding 25%+ CAGR growth over the last three years.

According to Jazz’s CEO, Ali’s ability to develop blue-ocean areas and talent in forging long-term connections with partners will help shape the future of all Jazz businesses in Pakistan.

It should be noted that Ali will also join the MMBL board in due course.

Jazz will shift gears after several accolades recognising diversity within the business to how diversity contributes to better the lives and livelihoods of Pakistanis (especially women) through technology.

Sarwat will play a major role in ensuring that diversity is not just an intrinsic thread in Jazz’s fabric, but also the common glue that binds the company and nation together.

Sarwat will assist the corporation in providing internet, smartphones, bank accounts, and other services to all marginalised communities, particularly women.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
