Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has leveled serious accusations against Aleema Khan, sister of jailed PTI founder Imran Khan, claiming efforts are underway to elevate her as the party’s next chairperson.
In a video statement, Gandapur addressed recent resignations of provincial ministers, saying he met the PTI founder months after initial complaints and reshuffled the cabinet with his approval. He alleged that vloggers and Aleema Khan are fueling internal rifts, citing Hafeez Ullah Niazi’s remarks referring to Aleema as both “Prime Minister” and “PTI Chairman.”
The CM warned that such campaigns are damaging the party’s narrative. He added that Bushra Bibi personally informed the PTI founder about protests against the leadership. Gandapur also revealed that while he was assigned to mobilize members in Lahore under Khan’s directives, he was accused of manipulating Senate elections.
He further claimed the establishment is in touch with Aleema Khan. Gandapur reiterated his allegiance to Imran Khan, stressing that false campaigns have been launched against him since the provincial budget, despite his actions being in line with the founder’s instructions.
