Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz launches Faisalabad’s first Electric Bus Service.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz pledged to defend the province’s rights, stating that while she ignores personal criticism, she will not accept attacks on Punjab or its development.

Speaking at the launch of Faisalabad’s first electric bus service, she said, “Criticize me if you wish, but I won’t allow anyone to undermine Punjab’s progress or rights.”

Maryam praised long-serving PML-N workers for their loyalty to Nawaz Sharif, recalling Rana Sanaullah’s words during his imprisonment: “If I stood 100% with him before, today I stand 1000%.”

Addressing questions about her media presence, she remarked, “Work speaks for itself. If people object, I don’t mind. But if they target Punjab, I will respond directly.”

She emphasized her duty to serve the people of Punjab, saying their respect motivates her, and even sacrificing “the last drop of blood” would not suffice for their rights.

Unveiling the new transport plan, she announced 150 electric buses—90 for Faisalabad, 30 for Jhang, and 15 each for Chiniot and Toba Tek Singh—marking the first-ever public transport service in Faisalabad.
