The Punjab Government has officially launched the Punjab Laptop Scheme 2025, a major initiative aimed at promoting digital literacy and academic excellence among students.
The program will provide laptops to students enrolled in public sector institutions across the province. Under the scheme, led by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, 112,000 high-performance laptops, including 13th-generation Core i7 models, will be distributed to outstanding students starting October 31, 2025.
Scheme Schedule:
- Registration Portal Launch: June 2025
- Application Deadline: September 30, 2025
Eligibility:
- Enrollment in a public university, college, or medical/dental institution in Punjab
- Minimum 65% for BS students and 80% for medical/dental students
- Applicants must not have received a laptop under previous schemes
How to Apply:
Students can apply online through the official portal by submitting academic records and identification documents. Recipients will be selected through a transparent, merit-based lottery system.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz will inaugurate the program on September 6, with laptops delivered to students by the end of October.
