The sudden cloudburst caused water levels to rise rapidly, damaging several houses and cutting off access routes. Rescue efforts have been slowed down due to the dangerous conditions. Local residents are trying to help the victims while waiting for official assistance.
In another incident in Lower Dir’s Maidan Sori Makan area, a house roof collapsed after heavy rains. Four people lost their lives, and four others were injured. Rescuers and locals worked together to pull seven people from the debris.
