Gold Rate In Pakistan Today – August 12, 2025

Gold Prices in Pakistan Fall by Rs500 on August 12, 2025

Gold prices in Pakistan dropped slightly on Tuesday, August 12, 2025. The per tola rate of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs500, settling at Rs358,300, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA).

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold went down by Rs429, now available at Rs307,184. For 22-karat gold, 10 grams were priced at Rs281,595.

This decline in gold prices is linked to a small correction in the global bullion market. Internationally, the price of gold slipped by $5, bringing it to $2,356 per ounce.

Silver Prices Stay Stable

Unlike gold, silver rates did not change. The per tola price of 24-karat silver remained at Rs4,013, while 10 grams were priced at Rs3,440. In the global market, silver stood unchanged at $37.80 per ounce.

Reasons Behind the Price Change

Experts say the recent dip in gold prices is mainly due to minor global market adjustments and changes in the exchange rate. Seasonal demand shifts in Pakistan’s jewelry market also affect local pricing.

Gold is often seen as a safe investment, and many Pakistanis monitor daily price updates closely. The small drop may attract buyers looking to invest or purchase jewelry at lower rates.
