Post-Mortem Reveals 16 Bullet Wounds in victims of Balochistan honour killings

A post-mortem report has confirmed that a man and woman, allegedly killed in a so-called honour killing in Balochistan’s Degari area, were shot multiple times. Ehsanullah suffered nine gunshot wounds, while Bano Bibi was hit by seven bullets.

The tragic incident took place near Quetta, with authorities stating both victims were murdered on June 4, 2025. Their bodies were later exhumed and examined by Police Surgeon Dr. Ayesha Faiz following a court order.

Police have since registered a case and launched a crackdown, arresting 13 suspects so far, with more arrests expected as the investigation continues.
