Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan suffered an injury during the shooting of his upcoming film King. The incident happened while filming an action sequence at Mumbai’s Golden Tobacco Studio. Though the injury is muscular and not serious, Shah Rukh Khan has been advised to rest for a month to recover fully.

The injury has caused a pause in the film’s production schedule. Shooting, initially planned for July and August, has now been postponed until September or October. Bookings at major studios like Film City, Golden Tobacco Studio, and Yash Raj Films have been put on hold until further notice.

King is directed by Siddharth Anand, known for his previous hit Pathaan. The film features Shah Rukh Khan alongside an ensemble cast including his daughter Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, and Deepika Padukone. Shah Rukh Khan plays a brooding assassin seeking revenge, with Suhana’s character joining him on the mission.

Originally, the film was to be directed by Sujoy Ghosh, but Siddharth Anand later took over the project. Filming is set to take place across India and several locations in Europe.

Sources close to the production say Shah Rukh Khan’s injury is a setback but not a major concern. They remain optimistic that he will return to the set fully recovered and ready to work with full energy.

King is one of the most awaited films of the year. Shah Rukh Khan’s recent successes like Pathaan and Jawan have only increased anticipation for this project.

Fans are eager to see Shah Rukh Khan back on screen after his recovery. The film promises a mix of intense action and emotional drama, making it a highly anticipated release.
