UPPER DIR (Dunya News) – A woman from Chicago, USA, has arrived in Pakistan to marry a young man from Upper Dir, police confirmed.
The woman, identified as Mandy, traveled to Pakistan to wed Sajid Zaib Khan, a resident of the Ashirey Dara Sadiqa Banda area in Upper Dir. Sajid informed authorities that he does not require any security arrangements and that their wedding will take place soon.

Sajid shared that their relationship began two years ago through Facebook, where they connected and developed a bond. Mandy later proposed to Sajid, and both families were informed and gave their support.
Mandy received a warm welcome from Sajid at Islamabad Airport on Sunday, where she was greeted with a bouquet. Her arrival in Upper Dir was met with joy by local residents.
According to Sajid, Mandy works as a flight attendant and lives in Chicago. Their wedding ceremony will follow Islamic traditions and local cultural practices.
In a video message recorded at Sajid’s residence, Mandy expressed her admiration for Pakistan, describing it as a beautiful and peaceful country. She also mentioned that this is her first visit to Pakistan.
