“My parents were two very different individuals,” Mahira shared. “They had very different ideas about life, and that obviously led to many clashes.”
She revealed that her early years were a mix of joy and emotional turbulence, largely due to the strained relationship between her parents. Calling her upbringing “dysfunctional,” Mahira admitted, “I hate talking about this because I’m also sharing other people’s problems. But I can now say that my parents were diametrically apart and their marriage was not happy.”
Throughout the difficult times, Mahira found strength in her bond with her brother.
“Whenever there was something difficult, we would huddle together,” she recalled, describing their close relationship as a source of comfort and resilience.
Mahira’s openness has resonated with many fans, adding a new layer of depth to the public’s understanding of her life beyond the spotlight. As she steps back into the limelight with Love Guru, her vulnerability and honesty continue to endear her to audiences across the globe.
