The infamous Annabelle doll, tied to paranormal tales and horror films, caused a stir online after rumors claimed it went missing during a tour in Louisiana.

The frenzy grew following a fire at the Nottoway Resort in White Castle, sparking unfounded speculation linking the incident to the doll’s supposed disappearance.

Claims began circulating on social media after some tour visitors reported not seeing the doll, fueling panic across platforms like X (formerly Twitter).

However, Dan Rivera from the New England Society for Psychic Research (NESPR) debunked the rumors, sharing a video of the doll safely enclosed in its glass case at the Warrens’ Occult Museum in Monroe, Connecticut.

He confirmed that the doll had not moved or gone missing. Other users also reinforced this with similar updates.

Annabelle, a Raggedy Ann doll believed by paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren to be possessed in the 1970s, has remained securely stored in the museum despite growing online myths and media attention.

Authorities further clarified there is no connection between the Louisiana fire and the doll. The panic, they said, stemmed from baseless online misinformation.
