Gold Prices in Pakistan Drop Again After Brief Rise
Gold prices in Pakistan have fallen sharply after a brief one-day increase, with a decline of Rs2,300 per tola and US$23 per ounce in the international market.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa and Jewellers Association, global gold prices dropped by US$23 per ounce to a new rate of US$3,235 per ounce, directly impacting local prices.

As a result:
- Gold price in Pakistan is now Rs341,900 per tola
- Or Rs293,124 per 10 grams
Silver prices, however, remained steady, holding at Rs3,482 per tola domestically and US$33 per ounce internationally.
This continued volatility in gold prices reflects the sensitivity of local rates to fluctuations in the international market.
