Vivo Y300 GT Launched With Dimensity 8400, 144Hz AMOLED Display, and 90W Charging
Vivo has officially expanded its Y-series lineup with the launch of the Vivo Y300 GT, a mid-range smartphone built for performance, gaming, and all-day endurance. Closely resembling the iQOO Z10 Turbo in terms of internal hardware, the Y300 GT is aimed at users seeking fast charging, high refresh rate displays, and powerful multitasking capabilities.
Design & Display
The Vivo Y300 GT sports a large 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution (1260 x 2800 pixels) and a smooth 144Hz refresh rate, ensuring ultra-fluid scrolling and responsiveness. The panel also delivers a peak brightness of up to 5,500 nits, making it ideal for outdoor use. A secure in-display optical fingerprint sensor is embedded for biometric authentication.
The phone is available in two color options: Desert Gold and Black.
Performance & Software
Under the hood, the Y300 GT is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 (4nm) chipset, offering a solid balance of performance and energy efficiency. It comes in two RAM variants — 8GB and 12GB, with storage options of 256GB and 512GB. Unfortunately, there is no microSD card slot for expansion.
The device runs Android 15 with OriginOS 15 in China. The global version is expected to ship with Funtouch OS, Vivo’s standard international interface.
