Pakistan launched a significant counteroffensive against India on Saturday morning, employing its advanced Fatah missile system as part of Operation Bunyan-um-Marsus, security sources confirmed.
The Fatah arsenal includes two surface-to-surface variants — the Fateh-1 with a 150-kilometre range and the Fateh-2, which extends up to 400 kilometres. The Fateh-2, equipped with a satellite-guided targeting system, has been central to today’s strikes due to its precision and extended reach.

At least three Fateh-2 missiles have been fired so far, successfully neutralising key Indian military assets. The BrahMos missile storage site in Beas was destroyed, along with airfields and defence systems in Udhampur, Adampur, Pathankot, and other regions. Reports indicate over 20 Indian military sites have been hit, causing widespread damage and disrupting operational capacity.
Security sources suggest further strikes are underway, with Pakistan targeting bases linked to earlier Indian attacks. The situation remains fluid as both sides assess ongoing developments.
