Pakistan Successfully Tests Upgraded Abdali Missile In Readiness Exercise

Pakistan on Saturday conducted a successful training launch of its surface-to-surface Abdali missile system as part of an ongoing military exercise designed to evaluate operational preparedness and technological advancements, the military confirmed.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that the missile, with a range of 450 kilometres, was tested under the operational readiness exercise codenamed “Indus.” Senior officials from the Army Strategic Forces Command, Strategic Plans Division, and members of the scientific community witnessed the launch.

The test validated upgrades in the missile’s navigation technology and manoeuvrability, demonstrating precision targeting and stable flight performance, meeting all mission objectives. National leaders, including President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, lauded the achievement and reaffirmed confidence in Pakistan’s strategic deterrence capabilities.

The Abdali missile system remains a vital element of Pakistan’s conventional and strategic arsenal, known for its rapid deployment and accuracy against ground targets.
