Gold Prices have Surged Notably in Pakistan Since Early 2025

Gold prices in Pakistan have sharply increased in 2025, with a rise of over Rs77,000 per tola recorded within the first 108 days.

Currently, one tola is priced at Rs349,700 and 10 grams at Rs299,811, holding steady since the last session. At the start of the year, gold was Rs272,600 per tola—marking a Rs77,100 surge—while 10 grams have jumped by Rs66,100 from Rs233,711.

Globally, gold is priced at $3,326 per ounce, up by $712 since January. Analysts link this spike to the rupee’s depreciation, global economic uncertainty, and increased demand for gold as a secure investment.
