Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif will embark on a two-day visit to Azerbaijan on February 24 to strengthen trade relations, focusing on energy cooperation and infrastructure investments.
During the visit, Pakistan and Azerbaijan are expected to finalize an agreement for establishing a trading company to enhance bilateral trade. Additionally, a deal between Pakistan State Oil and the Azerbaijan State Oil Company is likely to be signed, along with a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for a gas pipeline project.

Azerbaijan has also shown interest in investing in Pakistan’s communication sector and motorway projects. Discussions will explore further opportunities to expand trade between the two nations.
Following his Azerbaijan visit, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif is set to travel to Uzbekistan for a one-day trip.
