Mohsin Naqvi Pakistan-US Relations to Strengthen During Trump’s Tenure

U.S. Acting Ambassador to Pakistan, Natalie Baker, met with Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi to discuss Pakistan-U.S. relations, mutual interests, and ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting, they also reviewed Minister Naqvi’s recent visit to the United States, where he described his engagements with U.S. Congress members as highly productive in reinforcing ties between the two nations.

Naqvi emphasized that terrorism remains a global challenge, requiring collaborative international efforts. He also highlighted the long-standing relationship between Pakistan and the United States, expressing both countries’ interest in expanding cooperation across various sectors.

The minister stressed the importance of U.S. support in strengthening Pakistan’s law enforcement agencies and expressed optimism that bilateral relations would continue to progress under President Donald Trump’s leadership.

Additionally, Naqvi invited the Acting U.S. Ambassador to attend the upcoming Jashn-e-Baharan festival in Islamabad.
