UHS Releases Second Selection List for MBBS Admissions in Private Medical Colleges
The University of Health Sciences (UHS) has issued the second selection list for admissions to 32 private medical colleges in Punjab. The list, available on the UHS website, includes 1,744 candidates selected for vacant MBBS seats.
Drop in Merit for MBBS Admissions
According to UHS, the minimum merit for MBBS admissions has decreased by 4.17% in this second phase.
Important Deadlines
- Newly admitted candidates must submit their fees and complete the joining process by February 17.
- Students upgraded to different colleges must also report to their new institutions before the deadline.
- To ease the transition, upgraded students’ fees will be transferred by their previous colleges to their newly allotted institutions.

Last week, UHS released the first selection list, revealing the minimum closing merit of 79.7343% at Sahara Medical College, Narowal.
The highest closing merit was recorded at Sharif Medical and Dental College, Lahore (92.8939%), followed by Al-Aleem Medical College, Lahore (92.6455%).
