Lahore experienced chilly weather as temperatures dropped slightly, with the Met Office predicting scattered rain across the city and parts of Punjab this weekend due to a westerly wave over upper Pakistan.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecast cold, dry weather for most Punjab districts, with light rain and snowfall expected in Murree and Galliyat. Light rain or thunderstorms are also likely in Sialkot, Narowal, Gujrat, Sheikhupura, and Gujranwala.

Lahore’s minimum temperature is predicted to stay between 13-16°C over the weekend, while Murree could drop to 0°C. In the last 24 hours, Lahore recorded 09°C, and Murree remained the coldest at 0°C.
Fog caused disruptions on Saturday morning, closing motorways M3, M11, and M2 due to low visibility. Several flights, including Flight 402 from Karachi and Flight 724 from Dubai, faced delays due to operational challenges.
