PTI Warns of Ceasing Negotiations Without Judicial Commission
ISLAMABAD – PTI leader Omar Ayub has issued a warning that negotiations with the government will come to a halt unless a judicial commission is formed according to their demands.
Speaking to the media alongside Opposition Leader Barrister Gohar and other PTI members, Ayub emphasized the effectiveness of the opposition’s protests within Parliament. He revealed that the third round of negotiations with the government has concluded but expressed dissatisfaction with the government’s failure to arrange a meeting with PTI Chairman Imran Khan despite repeated requests.
Concerns Over the Digital Nation Pakistan Bill
Ayub also raised concerns about the Digital Nation Pakistan Bill, stating that those advocating for the Constitution and the rule of law could be targeted if the bill passes. He criticized the government’s stance on the bill, which he claimed would give the authorities excessive access to data and potentially suppress those who stand up for the Constitution.
No Talks Without Judicial Commission
Ayub emphasized that without the formation of the judicial commission as per PTI’s demands, no further talks would take place with the government. He also criticized the Al-Qadir Trust case, calling it baseless, and claimed that the judiciary was under pressure, with decisions being made by “puppet courts”.
PTI Criticizes Government Actions
Ayub also addressed issues such as inflation and unemployment, claiming these challenges are pushing more people into poverty.

Barrister Gohar on Legislation
PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar highlighted the record-breaking speed of legislation in Pakistan, saying, “In 88 days, there hasn’t even been 10 minutes of discussion on legislation. Laws are being passed in under 10 minutes.” He also pointed out that Parliament, which is supposed to meet for 130 days a year, has only convened for 88 days.
Amir Dogar on Inhumane Treatment of PTI Workers
PTI leader Amir Dogar revealed that 700 workers were brought from Attock to the Anti-Terrorism Court. He condemned the inhumane treatment of PTI workers, noting that prison vans are overcrowded, and more than 3,000 workers are in jail. He demanded that they be treated in accordance with the jail manual.
Ali Muhammad Khan on Imran Khan’s Case
Ali Muhammad Khan criticized the government’s actions and accused it of exposing itself through the US conspiracy revealed by Imran Khan. He slammed the verdict against Imran Khan, calling it baseless and claimed that judges who were unable to handle petty theft cases were tasked with the former prime minister’s case. He stated, “Imran Khan’s only fault is bringing money into Pakistan, unlike Hasan Nawaz.”
Khan concluded by saying, “We won’t tolerate the injustices faced by Imran Khan. We condemn this oppression and stand against it.”
