Former Pakistan Prime Minister and PTI chief Imran Khan has filed a petition in the Lahore High Court (LHC) seeking post-arrest bail in several cases linked to the May 9 incidents.

Facing over 150 charges, including sedition, attempted murder, blasphemy, and terrorism, Khan denies any involvement in the May 9 events, calling the accusations politically driven and an act of “political revenge.”

He claims to be a victim of “political victimization” and alleges that multiple “fabricated” cases were filed against him following his government’s removal. His plea for bail follows the Anti-Terrorism Court’s (ATC) rejection of his applications in eight May 9-related cases, including the Jinnah House attack.

Aleema Khan, Imran Khan’s sister, stated that PTI plans to approach the International Human Rights Organization (IHRO), accusing authorities of restricting Khan’s communication with his children and access to his doctor.
