The Punjab government has launched the Honhar Laptop Scholarship Program to enhance education through technological support. The initiative aims to distribute 50,000 laptops and merit-based scholarships to deserving students across the province within 90 days.

Key Details of the Program:
Laptop Distribution:
- 50,000 laptops will be distributed, including advanced Core i7, 13th-generation models.
- An initial batch of 5,000 laptops will be distributed within the first 30 days.
- The remaining laptops will be delivered by February 20.
Special Allocations:
- 2,000 laptops are specifically reserved for minority students.
- Top-performing matriculation and F.Sc students will receive laptops, along with a ceremonial Guard of Honour.
Scholarship Categories:
- 20,000 laptops for university students.
- 14,000 laptops for college students.
- 2,000 laptops for medical and dental students.
- 4,000 laptops for students in the industry and agriculture sectors.
- 32% of laptops reserved for students from Southern Punjab.
Support for Female Students:
- The Chief Minister’s Merit Scholarship Program will cover full tuition fees for up to five years for 18,000 female students.

- Students can apply through their educational institutions.
- The selection process will prioritize academic performance, with special consideration for minority groups.
This initiative aims to improve educational outcomes by providing students with access to modern technology and scholarships, supporting their academic journeys and future careers.
