PPP Stages Walkout in National Assembly Over Ministers’ Absence
ISLAMABAD – The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) staged a walkout during the National Assembly’s question hour session, expressing discontent over the absence of ministers in the House.
PPP lawmakers criticized the lack of ministerial accountability and demanded action, citing frustration over the government’s apparent disregard for important issues raised by parliamentarians.

Joining the protest, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) member Hanif Abbasi also walked out, signaling broader dissatisfaction across party lines regarding the Assembly’s functioning.
The walkout underscored growing tensions within the Assembly, as lawmakers continue to voice concerns about the government’s commitment to addressing pressing issues. Following the protest, the National Assembly session was adjourned indefinitely.
