Former Pakistani cricket captain Shahid Afridi joyfully announced that he has become a grandfather again, as his eldest daughter Aqsa gave birth to a baby girl, named Ayra. Sharing the news on his X account, Afridi expressed his gratitude, saying, “Alhamdulilah, Allah has blessed Aqsa and Naseer with beautiful Ayra. Daughters are the most precious reflection of His mercy and the most precious blessing. Keep us in your prayers.”

Aqsa and Naseer Nasir got married on December 30 last year in a small nikah ceremony in Karachi, which was attended by close family and friends, including Afridi’s other daughter’s husband, renowned fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi. Videos from the event showed the family celebrating together.
