A magnitude 5.1 earthquake struck Lahore and several cities across Punjab, including Jhelum, Kamalia, Gujrat, and surrounding areas, causing widespread panic as residents hurriedly evacuated their homes and buildings.
Tremors were felt in cities such as Nankana Sahib, Jalalpur Bhattian, Wazirabad, Shahkot, and Bhalwal, among others. According to the National Seismic Monitoring Centre (NSMC), the earthquake’s epicenter was located near Kharian, with a depth of 15 kilometers.

In the aftermath, many people were seen reciting Kalma-e-Tayyaba as they rushed out of their houses in fear. Thankfully, no casualties or property damage have been reported so far.
