Pakistan fast bowlers Ahmed Daniyal and Shahnawaz Dahani have been ruled out of the ODI series against Zimbabwe due to injuries, as confirmed by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). Daniyal suffered a hamstring injury, while Dahani sustained a left ankle injury during training. Both players will return to Lahore for rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy.
To reinforce the squad for the decisive third ODI, Abbas Afridi and Jahandad Khan have been called up, enhancing Pakistan’s pace attack. Neither Daniyal nor Dahani featured in any of the matches against Zimbabwe.
