At least eight individuals, including four policemen and two army soldiers, were martyred in a suicide bombing in North Waziristan, with several others injured.
According to police, the bomber detonated himself near a police post in the Eidak area of Mir Ali. Rescue officials transported the injured to a hospital, while security forces cordoned off the vicinity. A senior police officer reported that some of the injured are in critical condition, raising concerns that the death toll may increase.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly speaker Babar Saleem Swati expressed his condolences over the loss of security personnel. Earlier this month, security forces eliminated nine terrorists, including two suicide bombers, during an intelligence-based operation in the Bajaur district. The operation resulted in the death of a high-value target, Said Muhammad, a leader of the Khawarij group, along with the recovery of a significant cache of weapons and explosives linked to various terrorist activities against security forces and civilians.
