This incident occurred during the proceedings related to the 26th Constitutional Amendment, during which Akhtar Mengal was removed from the Senate gallery. In a subsequent media interaction, he mentioned that a female security officer had escorted him out. Mengal expressed his dissatisfaction with party members who voted in favor of the amendment against party directives, specifically citing Qasim Ronjho and Naseema Ihsan as dissenting members who supported the constitutional change.
