During the festival, foreign delegations from a number of nations, including the UK, Canada, the USA, and India, will organise numerous literary, musical, and artistic events. Javed Akhtar, a well-known poet and screenwriter from India, will also take part in the event. During the occasion, he will both announce his new book and participate in a Mushaira. Javed Akhtar and other Indians have received visas from the government.
More than 60 events will be held at the venue and they include debates, lectures, theatre, dance performances and Qawwali gatherings. The administration has announced free entrance for public as a result of criticism from literary circles and citizens for allocating expensive tickets to participate in the festival.

The majority of the festival’s programmes, according to a senior official of the Punjab Arts Council, will be free to the general public. We are confident that many people would attend the programmes despite the political unrest and PSL, the speaker continued.
