Donald Trump has announced the launch of “Official Trump Coins,” a new venture into collectible silver medallions. The 2024 presidential candidate shared the news on his social media platform, Truth Social, claiming it to be the only official coin designed by him, minted in the U.S.
The coins, priced at $100 each, are made from 99.9% fine silver, weighing 1 troy ounce, and measuring 1.598 inches in diameter. They feature Trump’s profile on one side and the White House on the other, and are presented in a custom felt bag with a certificate of authenticity.
This announcement follows Trump’s introduction of a cryptocurrency business, World Liberty Financial, where he emphasized the need for U.S. leadership in the crypto space and criticized the current administration. As he gears up for the 2024 election, these ventures reflect his strategy to combine political influence with business initiatives.
